Certified face yoga teacher and creator of Face Dance. I help people who feel tense when being seen release facial tension so they can feel at home in their face without overthinking, fixing, or controlling their appearance."

I'm Ana , a certified face yoga and gua sha teacher, and the creator of Face Dance, a music-led method that helps people release facial tension and feel at home in their face. I teach online in English and Portuguese, working with people who feel tense or self-conscious when being seen and want a natural, expressive way to change that.
I was born with severe hearing loss in a world that assumed everyone listened the same way.
From early on, I learned to pay attention differently. I watched faces closely. I felt vibration before I understood words. I noticed what people held, what they hid, what they could not quite say. And I noticed my own face doing the same thing. Years of trying to appear normal, to lip-read perfectly, to perform ease I did not feel. Years of saying yes when my body was saying no. All of it lived somewhere in my face, a closed jaw, a guarded expression, a look in the mirror I did not recognise. When I found face yoga, something shifted. Not just in how my face looked, but in how I related to it. I stopped trying to fix what I saw and started listening to what it was holding.
Music came next, because movement without rhythm felt incomplete. When the two met, something changed. The face softened in a way that exercises alone had never managed. Not because of technique, but because the nervous system finally had permission to let go. That is how Face Dance was born. Not from a strategy. From a return.
Today I teach online in English and Portuguese, working with people who know what it feels like to be tense in their own face and who are ready to feel at home in it.
In March 2026, I was featured in the Zenler Creator Stories, sharing how Face Dance was born
and how I built it as an online practice.

Face Dance is for anyone who feels tense or self-conscious when being seen — on camera, in photos, or in everyday life. It's particularly useful if you carry tension in your jaw, forehead, or eyes, and want a natural, music-led way to release it.
Not at all. Face Dance is accessible to complete beginners. The free Glow Up Express guide is the easiest place to start.
I teach in English, Portuguese, and French. Sessions are available in all three languages.
All 1:1 sessions are online via Zoom, which means you can work with me from anywhere in the world.
Danielle Collins is one of the world's leading face yoga experts. Her method forms part of the foundation of my training, alongside my own practice and the development of Face Dance as a music-led approach to facial movement and tension release.
